Feels good to finally finish a project that was started over a year ago... I'm no painter, but back in 2012, I wanted to see what I could do with some cheap acrylic paint and a wall. Because I am a fan of the brilliant show, Doctor Who, I wanted to paint the time vortex along with the TARDIS on my wall. Wasn't easy and I felt discouraged many times, but after nearly two years, I finally finished it. Many of it was eyeballed. The TARDIS isn't exactly drawn accurately, given the perspective... but if I constantly move my head while I'm looking at it, I barely noticed the uneven windows and whatnot. Feels great to walk in and see the big ass vor

New toy on its way

Bought the Cintiq 13HD yesterday. Can't wait to try it out... Now I hope I don't catch a case of buyer's remorse... I tend to regret big purchases right after I use them... Bought the surface pro 2 a month ago because of it wacom-like drawing capability. As much as I loved it... I regretted the purchase and sold it. I didn't sell it because it was bad (If I didn't already own a laptop, I would have kept it). It just didn't scratch that screen tablet itch I had. With that said, maybe it won't be the case here. I do enjoy my Wacom Bamboo tablet. If anything, I hope the Cintiq would push me to draw more each day.

Anime is proving to be difficult... I'm slowly getting the hang of it though. While working on a snowy scene with a few characters, somehow my attention shifted to Doctor Who. Eventually the illustration ended up being the TARDIS covered in snow after having crashed for unknown reasons... Didn't give it much thought. Back to anime!!
